Transmitting from one radio to several different antennas, or in several directions at the same time — this is the main task of the StackMatch! The classic use case is traditional stacking: two or three identical antennas mounted one above another on a tower, fed in phase to increase gain. But it works just as well for splitting power across completely different antennas — for example a dipole, an inverted vee, and a Yagi — or across antennas pointing in different directions, to cover more headings without switching.
Power from the TRX or PA is split equally into one, two, or three outputs. It can also work as a classic 3×1 switch, when you’d rather just pick one antenna instead of combining several. It works with both single-band and multi-band antennas.
Mode selection is done from the separate Controller StackMatch — with a rotary knob and LEDs showing the active antennas — or fully automatically by integrating the StackMatch with MOAS II.
