MOAS II is an intelligent antenna management system that automates antenna switching and PTT signal management. It provides the ability to controll all antenna switches, subband switches, band filters, rotators, and even the coffee machine at the ham radio station. The system is controlled via PC and Android apps.
Main functions:
- Automatic antenna selection: The system automatically presents the available antennas for the current operating frequency.
- Security: Hot switching protection.
- Configuration: Possibility to define scenarios for different operating styles (e.g. competition, single or multi-band operation, inband station).
- Other antenna: Transmit on another antenna and listen on another antenna. Possibility of any configuration.
- Inhibit: Advanced inhibit signal management, allowing to avoid transmission conflicts between radios.
- Alternative access: Possibility to automatically change the available antennas for other radios when the radio starts transmitting.
- Output voltage from the controller: the system is powered by +12V DC as standard. It is possible to connect an external voltage in the range of 5-50V DC to each of the 8 output sections separately.
Cooperation with external applications and configuration:
- Server: The heart of the system is a dedicated antenna server (MOAS Server), which manages the system and exchanges information with logging programs and user interfaces (MOAS Client).
- Clients: Two types of clients are available: for Windows and Android. It is possible to integrate with logging programs that will provide information, including information about the operating frequency.
- Configuration: The system is configured via JSON coding. The script defines antennas, radios, antenna systems, scenarios, available buttons and their settings, and other operating parameters.

We have improved the design developed by K1XM, preserving the key functions, but introducing our own innovations:
- Architecture: Modular design distinguishes 3 types of modules:
- main processor module with PTT sockets
- output modules, each with 16 outputs
- module with Inhibit outputs
- Clarity: Each output pin is equipped with an LED, which signals the activation of a given output.
- A amazing number of control outputs: the possibility of connecting up to 6 radios to one processor, which controls 4 output modules, 16 in each module. In total, we gain as many as 64 outputs.
It is possible to connect up to 64 such sets, which can offer as many as 4096 outputs. - Compatibility: DIN rail for easy mounting and integration.
