Bandpass filters are necessary components for configuring SO2R, Multi-One, Multi-Two, and Multi-Multi stations. Their purpose is to reduce interference between bands to ensure multiple radios can operate simultaneously on different bands.
This kit provides the user with a complete tool for filtering interference in SO2R or Multi-Operator operation. The kit should be installed in the Low Power section before the amplifiers or just before the antenna switch. Sample connection diagrams below.
These filters are designed for low-power operation (max 200W) on the 160m, 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m bands.
The 6×2 switches are designed for operation at up to 4kW. The switches can also be used in other High Power configurations. A key parameter is the attenuation between ports. The best filters will be ineffective if the switch provides low attenuation. Our switch offers an attenuation of over 80 dB between ports, which is an excellent value.
The key parameters of the filters are the attenuation within the operating band and the attenuation of adjacent bands. Our filters offer insertion loss within the operating band of 0.25-0.4 dB (depending on the band), which distinguishes them from the competition.
The attenuation of adjacent bands is no less than 50 dB, allowing them to work with excellent results even with a triplexer.
Control is achieved by applying a +12V voltage to one of the pins of the DB9 connector. It is also possible to control the entire set using a single 6×2 controller.
